Visible Impact

The Positive Vibes project is driven by the vision to saturate the Nigerian airwaves with the grooviest positive music in the world. By projection, it is expected that within 3-years of the positive vibes contest, we see the production of over 1000 “Top 10” hits with inspiring positive lyrics. The Positive Vibes Award is designed to command world attention in the league of the Grammy Awards. Positive Vibes’ mission is to foster inspiration and production of the most positive lyrics with the grooviest soundtracks.
Such lyrics must be able to inspire an individual or our nation collectively to greatness. In addition, the soundtrack must be capable of attention, attraction and retention in order to capture mind share and mouth share.

The highlight of the Positive Vibes program is an N1million prize to be given to the winner of the most positive vibe. Entries must have been produced up to Demo level at least on a separate CD.
Type of music for entry shall be urban contemporary music. All entries shall be shortlisted to the best five (5) Positive vibes, by a reputable and qualified panel of judges.
The proposed panel of judges includes Dare Art-Alade, Diran Olajoyegbe, Colbams, OJB, Yinka Davies, TY Bello (formerly of KUSH), Femi Olagbaiye (MTV base).
Public voting for the best Positive Vibes shall be through a radio program. Public Rating will account for 60% of the marks whereas the judges rating will account for 40%.

The winner of the Positive Vibes contest takes on 1million prize gift given by Mr. Fela Durotoye as well as other sponsored gifts including a 1-year contract with the New Temple Record label. The 2nd and 3rd positions will also be awarded with gift prizes.
